Paalivahti is an outdoor automated hay feeder designed for round bale feeding. Its feeding panels open and close automatically according to scheduled feeding times.
Suitable for paddocks, turnout areas and active horse environments.
Up to 12 feeding cycles per day (per feeding side).

No special foundations required. A level and load-bearing surface is sufficient, and the system can be relocated if needed. Easy foundation solutions are possible using systems such as Ecoraster ground grids.
Requires wiring to the control unit (2 × 2.5 mm² – 8 × 2.5 mm²). Safe 24V operating voltage — suitable for practical on-site installation.
The bale is loaded into the system through one feeding side. The base is designed so that the round bale remains in a horizontal position, preventing rolling, collapsing, or excessive loosening — significantly reducing hay waste.
